At RED Horticulture, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation in greenhouse cultivation. Our latest trial in Wageningen at Wageningen University & Research (WUR) marks another step forward in optimizing dynamic light treatments for high-efficiency tomato cultivation.
The current study focuses on the cherry tomato variety Prodelle, where we research how dynamic LED lighting can enhance plant density and improve overall cultivation efficiency. By combining WURโs expertise in plant physiology, VORTUS BV’s technical crop evaluation, Vivent Biosignals’ technology and Grodan’s precision irrigation solutions, we are gaining invaluable insights into the future of high-performance cultivation systems.
What does this mean for the industry?
By leveraging cutting-edge technology and cross-sector expertise, we aim to develop more sustainable, high-yielding cultivation strategies that benefit growers worldwide.
